The aims of the League of Friends of St Monica's Hospital since its formation in 1983 have been to relieve patients and former patients of the Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and generally support the work of the Hospital.  These aims are incorporated in the Governing Document dated 13 January 1983 and amended 2 May 1991.  The Governing Document was revised during 2008 in line with current legislation and it was presented for approval at the 2009 AGM.  Draft copies of this revision are available from the Easingwold Library or may be view by clicking here.  This draft copy was adopted by the Members at the AGM on 11 June 2009.  The adopted Governing Document has now been filed and a summary can be viewed on the Charity Commission website.

The Friends have prepared a revised leaflet describing the facilities available at the Hospital.  Its purpose is to assist new people coming into the region or anyone preparing to go into St Monica's as a patient.  Copies can be obtained from the Hospital, the Easingwold Library, the Easingwold Tourist Office, the doctors' surgeries in the area or by clicking here
