John Barr is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. His whole working career
has been in construction. In later stages of his career he was responsible for design, construction and clinical
commissioning of critical care hospitals in Middlesborough and Malta.
He cares about Education and Community Health. He has served on School Governing bodies in Berkshire, Hartlepool and York in roles as Chairman and Head of Finance Committees.
He has been a Committee Member of FOSMH since 2014.
