Alison co-owned a small hotel in Vermont USA welcoming guests from all the over the world. Involved in every aspect of the business from web-site development and event management, to breakfast preparation and accounting, this broad experience provided many amusing stories and a deep appreciation for what it takes to run a successful small business. Prior to this venture, Alison worked in senior project management and recruitment for technology-based companies primarily in California and Connecticut.
Returning to her Yorkshire roots in 2023 with husband, Phill, she lives in Easingwold, never makes breakfast and enjoys walking and running the Howardian Hills.
