Barry’s career was within the Banking and Securities industries. The majority of the time concentrated on Audit and Control areas in banks internationally. Based in Luxembourg for the final twelve years, first as Managing Director of a locally registered bank and finally as Director and head of internal controls in one of the two major Eurobond settlement companies.
Barry retired to Easingwold 18 years ago and has spent 10 years as a Trustee of the Easingwold & District u3a, 6 years of which as Treasurer. In 2025 Barry has kindly decided to add his support to the FOSMH, taking on the role of Treasurer.
