Jane Wintermeyer is the Honorary Chairman of the Friends of St Monica’s Hospital having been the Vice Chair from September 2022 until May 2026.
After several years in the Army (in REME – Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers), Jane trained as a lawyer and worked for City of York Council followed by North Yorkshire Police, concluding her last eight years before retirement as Force Solicitor and Head of Legal Services. Jane has lived in Easingwold for over 20 years and has always supported and volunteered with local organisations; serving as a Governor at both the Primary and Secondary Schools, was actively involved with Scouting, Guiding and the Air Training Corps and is an active member of several local recreational organisations.
