News from the recent meeting with Sue Symington

27th October 2016

Sue Symington is the Chairperson of York Hospital, she met recently with Barry Sanderson.  Sue gave us this quote :

“Working increasingly closely with the communities York Teaching Hospital serves is an absolute priority for our trust.

We serve a population of more than 800,000 people across York and North Yorkshire, and we continually seek to build effective relationships which can develop and improve the services we offer.

Our relationship with the Friends of St Monicas is at the heart of this important work.

Our trust recognises the commitment and energy that the work of the Friends of St Monicas give freely to the patients of St Monicas and the very positive effect this has on the quality of services we are able to offer.

The trust is ever grateful to the Friends for their work, commitment and kindness.

The trust looks forward to  building still further on this relationship”.
