The Friends of St Monica’s Hospital (FOSMH) held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 12th June 2025, in the Galtres Centre, Easingwold, attended by its members and those of the general public, and trustees.

Dr Will Robertson and Rosie O’Connell from the South Hambleton and Ryedale Primary Care Network (SHaR PCN) presented their current initiatives, highlighting innovations in early cancer diagnosis, breathlessness support, paediatric mental health, women’s health, and urgent care services. They also praised the success of Dr Morris’s Health and Wellbeing Service—funded by FOSMH—which may serve as a model for other care services, and reported excellent patient feedback for the new Urgent Care Service based at Easingwold Health Centre.
